Today, February 4, 2008, the homosexual community will descend on the New Mexico state capitol in an attempt to legitimize homosexual relationships in our state. A rally is planned for the Rotunda and homosexuals are urged to visit the office of their legislators.

If you know yours is not the will of the people, a manipulation of the democratic process becomes the viable alternative.

Domestic Partners House Bill 9 is the homosexual bill that will legitimize homosexual relationship by making them the same as spousal relationship in New Mexico. The bill gives homosexuals the rights to sue if disallowed employment, rentals, adoption, etc. It is to be heard by the Judiciary Committee after being postponed last Friday.

Senator McSorley from did allow the testimony of Bard Miller from Focus on the Family on Friday. Mr. Miller outland the far reaching consequences of this law pointing out that present law contains over 700 reference to spousal rights that would be automatically changed without serious consideration of the consequence.
