Prayer will be disallowed at Ground Zero at New York’s Commemoration of 9/11. (click here) Not even the attending Firefighters, Policeman and other First Responders will be honored. (click here)

We, the rest of nation, have an opportunity to commemorate biblically the heroes and the fallen.

A Bible Read-a-Thon will be held across the nation this Saturday, September 10, 2011. The nation will read through the Bible in remembrance and as a blessing.

In New Mexico our state’s portion will be read at 2:00 p.m. at the State Capitol (Old Santa Fe Trail and Paseo de Peralta, Santa Fe, NM).

The commemoration is sponsored by The New Mexico National Day of Prayer. Please join us this Saturday at the Round House.
